From Glory to Glory 4
Apostle Niyi Makinde
- 1. The glory of the celestial
- 2. The glory of the terrestial
- 3. The glory of the sun
- 4. The glory of the moon
- 5. The glory of the stars
Beyond the above, there further exists:
- 6. The glory of Christ: The glory of Christ is the glory of the Father
- 7. The glory of children: (Prov. 17:6) The glory of children is their father
- 8. The glory of young men: (Prov. 20:29) The glory of young men is their strength
- 9. The glory of kings: (Prov. 25:2) It is the glory of kings to search out the things God conceals
There's glory that come from God and glory that come from men. Isaiah 60:1-2 reveals the glory that comes from God. Matthew 6:2 reveals the glory from men.
We are commanded not to seek our glory. Prov. 25:27 reveals that to seek one's glory is not glory.
Jesus declared that He gave glory to His disciples. John 17:22- And the glory which you have given me I have given them.
Moving from Glory to Glory
When God wants you to move from glory to glory, He will do the following:
- 1. Add more or multiply excellence to your life.
- 2. Add more or multiply wisdom and knowledge to your life.
- 3. Add more or multiply anointing to your life.
- 4. Add more or multiply riches and wealth to your life
- 5. Add more or multiply influence, greatness, dominion to your life.
- 6. Add more or multiply favor (relationship) to your life
- 7. Add more or multiply health to your life.
- 8. Add more or multiply promotion in your life
- 9. Add more or multiply fruitfulness in your life
Your present challenges are far below your glory ahead. You must bear in mind that there's glory ahead. Romans 8:18 - The suffering of this present world are not to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us.
You have to understand that your current situation, affliction, circumstances is for a moment and it's working for you an exceeding weight of glory. God will use what you are going through now to get you into glory. 2 Cor. 4:17 - our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
On your way into glory, do the following:
1. Be Prayerful
Greater glory demands greater prayers.
2. Be Diligent
Ensure you are consistent and hardworking. No glory for a lazy person. Shame is for the lazy. You may not see what you desire yet, but keep working day and night. Your reward will come.
3. Be Patient
Patience is telling God you will wait for Him till He's ready. Be patient. Great things happen over time not over night. The glory God has for you has allotted time of manifestation.
4. Be Praiseful
Praising God is a demonstration that you believe He will show up soon.
