Let’s quickly discuss why people move from glory to shame.

Why People Move from Glory to Shame

1. Killers of Glory

Glory can be killed. When a government law destroy your business, that law is a killer of glory. 

There are principalities, powers and rulers that fight the destinies of people.

2. Robbers of Glory

Glory can be stolen. Another can claim ownership of what belongs to you. Debt is a robber that took away the glory of many. Sicknesses and diseases are robbers to take away health. Discord and disagreement are robbers to take away your glory.

Sometimes, friends or close allies could be robbers of glory. I remember many years ago, I went all out to do somethings. But there was this person who went behind to people that we did it together. In fact, the person spoke as though he was the real person doing it and I was just assisting him. God needs to help you so that you won’t be robbed of your glory.

3. Garment of Shame

Garment represents a thinking pattern, lifestyle, structures or systems. The garment of shame can move a person in glory back to shame. 

4. God Making a Glory Cease 

Psalm 89:44 reveals that God can make a glory cease. This is what leads to Icabod. When God decree that a glory cease, what brought that glory or represents that glory will surely depart from the person.

Our text reveals that the glory of God is risen upon you. This way, God descend his glory on you. Every revelation you receive from God delivers a glory to you. When your light comes, a dimension of glory is risen and released upon you.

God brings glory. Excellence also brings glory. Knowledge and wisdom brings glory. Anointing brings glory. Riches and wealth brings glory. Exaltation (Promotion) brings glory

Glory manifests as the following:

• • The glory of a father
• • The glory of prosperity
• • The glory of knowledge
• • The glory of wisdom
• • The glory of authority
• • The glory of greatness

Isaiah 60:2 reveals that God’s glory shall be seen on you. His glory shall be seen upon you.

There Is the Throne of Glory

There’s glory but there’s also the throne of glory. Many have glory but are not on the throne of glory. The wise shall have glory not the throne of glory.

What is throne in this context? Thrones are position of authority that people occupy in the realm of the spirit. 1 Samuel 2:8 says “He raises the poor from the dust And lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princes And make them inherit the throne of glory…”

What are thrones of glory? Let me just list a few:

• • Throne of spiritual fatherhood
• • Throne of kingmakers
• • Throne of dominion
• • Throne of kings
• • Throne of specialized dimensions like healing, miracles, etc.

There Is the Crown of Glory

Now, if there is a throne, there is a crown. A king on the throne of glory needs a crown of glory. Isaiah 28:5, 62:3.

• • Crown of glory manifest through the kind of men you have control over. 
• • Crown of glory makes you the king (ruler and leader) over certain kind of people.

Blessings can be released upon your crown of glory - Genesis 49:26. Remember the blessing of God makes rich. Blessings on your crown will make you rich in authority.

There Is Abundance of Glory

Isaiah 66:11 reveals abundance of glory. 

This happens when you have in plenty what represents your glory. Can you identify what represents your glory in the secret of glory shared in part 2.

If you know that thing, God can give you plenty of it and that will automatically lead to the abundance of glory.

There Is the Presence of Glory

Many people don’t know that when they move to higher degree of glory, their presence or atmosphere must show it. You establish a presence of glory when you have entourage and move in convoy. You also establish a presence of glory when you display high level excellence. This is wisdom side to having a presence of glory.

The faith side to having the presence of glory are expression of desire for God’s glory, good worship music because music draws the glory of God down. If you know how to worship or praise God regularly in your privacy, His glory will always clothe you.
